His academic journey began in 1991 as a Lecturer at the Bangladesh Institute of Technology, Chittagong (now CUET). In 1992, he joined the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Jahangirnagar University, where he currently serves as a full-time Professor. Throughout his career, he has made significant contributions, including serving as Chairman of the Computer Science and Engineering Department and as Teacher-in-Charge of the ICT Cell at Jahangirnagar University.
