Everyone likes street magic - A guy walks up to unsuspecting strangers and performs magic to shock & awe them with magic. That's what this show purports to be, but unfortunately fails pretty miserably at.
It's fun to try and figure out how Troy performs his tricks - and there are some great tricks on this show - but it's rather obvious that almost everyone, if not the entire spread of people Troy interacts with, are hired actors.
I'm not saying that everyone is told to react a certain way, etc., but what I do believe happens in this show is that a group of actors and/or models are hand selected, told that a magician is going to interact with them, and to "try and act like a normal unsuspecting person."
